For those who are not used to getting up, planning enough sleep can be a whole job in itself.

Fear not, a new website will calculate the optimum amount of sleep you’ll need.

www.sleepyti.me will tell you the best time to hit the sack, and it will also give you a few more options.

For a 5am wake-up call, the website says you should try to fall asleep at either: 8pm, 9:30pm, 11pm or 12:30am

The website works by counting backwards in sleep cycles. Waking up in the middle of a sleep cycle leaves you feeling tired and groggy, but waking up in between cycles wakes you up feeling refreshed and alert, it says.

“The average human takes fourteen minutes to fall asleep, so plan accordingly,” the website advises.
