Smart bed could make snoring history
It's an experience many of us are all-too familiar with: being rudely woken by heavy snoring on the other side of the bed while the perpetrator gets a good night's sleep.
However, it could become a thing of the past thanks to a new bed that automatically adjusts to the sleeper's position when it detects a snoring fit.
The 360 Smart Bed can track a person's sleeping habits, alter the mattress to fit different body positions and raise the sleeper's head to clear the airwaves when it detects snoring.
Developed by US mattress maker Sleep Number and due to go on sale this year, it can also send data about the owners' sleeping patterns to an app.
