A woman who was the victim of online bullying after appearing on Jeremy Kyle Show has been gifted with an oral makeover by the ITV show which she said has changed her life.
Gemma, who appeared on an episode of the programme called ‘Stop harassing me because I’m sleeping with your ex’ was abused by online bullies for her appearance in the aftermath of the show.
Following the abuse, the ITV show volunteered to pay for Gemma to undergo dental work costing £10,000 (€12,500).
“The abuse was terrible,” she said. “I just wanted to cry. I actually had a breakdown,” said Gemma.
“It’s changed my life around,” she said.
“It has changed my life. I can look in the mirror and not worry about anything.”
According to The Mirror, a source close to the programme’s producers said: "A camera crew went to her house and they filmed the whole thing. She was awake during the treatment and she's got to go on The Jeremy Kyle Show again on Thursday."
Gemma is still with her boyfriend Tony, despite originally debuting her complicated relationship on the show.
