MUsic to the ears of runners and fun lovers - sign up for The Rainbow Run today and get 20% off.

The third annual Rainbow Run will kick off at Dun Laoghaire's picturesque West Pier at 3pm on the 20th of June. Along the route, participants of all abilities and ages are doused from head to toe with coloured powder while they run, jog or walk the 5km route.

As they cross the finish line in a blaze of blinding light and colour, this year's participants can look forward to healthy snacks and treats at the health and fitness expo or take a dip in the giant water slide and rock out to the sounds of hit 90s band Smash Hits.

People are urged to wear white (although not essential) and will be bombarded with an array of different colours until they cross the finish line and enter the colour festival covered in a dazzling kaleidoscope of pinks, blues, greens, yellows, purples, reds and every mixture under the rainbow. (Don’t worry - the powder is non-toxic and harmless!)

This year, the 'Rainbow Run' are bringing the Rainbow Rapids back to Dun Laoghaire. Runners can cool off in our special custom-built “Rainbow Slide” - a 15 meter slippery slide into the Irish Sea!

"The Rainbow Run takes the seriousness out of running," founder Rob Smyth said today. "Most people don't sign up to running events because they are too scared and don't know what to expect."

"People who attend The Rainbow Run are there to have fun with their friends & family and if they run, walk or crawl over the finish line all the better! This is just a fun day out for everyone, " he added.

Tickets for this year's event are available from today, Tuesday, February 24th, with a special Mega Sale offer of €19.99 for adults and €9.99 for kids, for the first 500 people to sign up.
