They say in LA you can never be too rich or too thin.
And model Nadia Forde, who is currently splitting her time between the City of Angels and Dublin, says she definitely feels the pressure to stay in shape while in LA.
"I'd be lying if I said I don't feel pressure to stay slim -- I do," she told the Diary. "Like anybody in this industry. I'm a curvy girl, I'm Italian so I've got hips and boobs, that's just the way it goes.
"I try to eat as healthily as I can but at the end of the day I love a nice cupcake."
Nadia has been filming a reality TV series in the States and says the timetable has been gruelling, with 14-hour-day shoots and early-morning calls.
But she has found the experience hugely enjoyable. In fact it has encouraged her to branch out into different avenues, such as singing, dancing and acting.
"I would love to do some acting and singing. Out there, everyone does it all. If you're not making a film you're recording a video or dancing. And I just think, why not? I know I'm not going to win an Oscar anytime soon, but I might as well give it a go."
