MTV presenter Laura Whitmore is planning a detox after her hectic festive season.

The Bray beauty arrived home for Christmas to catch up with friends and family after two months jet-setting around the world.

After her stint down-under presenting I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! she flew first class to LA for meetings with executives from a top entertainment company before jetting back to London in time for Christmas.

She made it home to Ireland for her mum's birthday and a host of parties with friends over Christmas.

And tomorrow Laura will host Dublin's New Year's Eve festivities before embarking on her health kick.

"Why do we do it to ourselves?! Every festive season I promise myself to not over indulge," she wrote on her Hello! blog.

"Next week I'll be seeking aid from Soulmate Food."

According to the star, the company does a "brilliant three-day juicing plan".

The presenter will also call in the help of her London pal Natasha Corrett, who runs Honestly Healthy which provides "delicious and healthy meals".

For Christmas the blonde bombshell, like the rest of the nation, has been enjoying her fill of crisps, chocolates and cupcakes baked by her brother's girlfriend.

She's also been busy catching up with her school friends and treating her mum to dinner at Avoca's Fern House Cafe in Wicklow.

Before arriving back in Ireland Laura had already taken in lots of festive parties with her ITV and MTV colleagues in London.

She's previously admitted that she's not a lover of partying and that hits the hay pretty early to be as fresh as possible to front the music TV channel.
