How did I do?
Pat Henry's Assessment: "When Deirdre first came in to see me, I thought her overall level of fitness was pretty good -- I'd give her six out of 10.
"But once we got down to individual exercises like squats, it was clear that the bit of cardio she had done in the past wasn't enough.
"At first, her legs were quite sore after sessions -- indicating that the muscles weren't working properly. Her shape had also been compressed too tightly, giving an almost hunched look.
"The programme I've devised for Deirdre will broaden out her shoulders and lengthen the look of her legs, so she feels taller and more upright.
"A good role model for her would be a young Raquel Welch, who at 5' 1" is an inch shorter but always looked really statuesque in her movies. The secret to body-shaping is to create the illusion that you're longer than you actually are. I think 8st 7lb would be the ideal weight for Deirdre -- dropping that stone would shave inches off the thighs and waist, without going too skinny. The aim is to keep her natural curves where they should be while firming everything else up.
"Although Deirdre has a nice figure already, she has a small bone structure so I think it has the potential to be sensational."
