Get the sex-zzzz look
The old phrase 'beauty sleep' has some scientific validity to it, according to new research which claims to have proof that eight hours a night makes you look better.
Photos of volunteers who had gone without sleep were judged to be less healthy and attractive-looking than the well-rested.
John Axelsson of Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden who led the study, said sleep deprivation caused physiological changes in the face, which can be observed by others. He also pointed out that sleeping is a much cheaper way to boost your image than expensive cosmetics.
Bad news for the beauty industry, but sweet dreams for the rest of us.
