Don't be tempted by 'toxic treats'

How is WeightWatchers helping its members to engage in mindful eating and survive the "toxic" environment for dieters? Here are some tips:
Wrap treats individually in foil or portion big bags of crisps into airtight containers. This stops you from having open packets on display.
Studies have shown that people eat fewer biscuits from a packet when there are separator pieces of paper every three to four biscuits.
Plan all meals for the family for the whole week and write it all down. Buy only what's on that list.
We consume 30pc more calories when we eat with others and are more prone to temptation, so come to the office prepared. Take cut-up fruit to meetings to avoid diving into the biscuits.
Do your research and read the menu beforehand by looking at a restaurant's website – concentrate on healthy choices and make your decision without the pressure of a waitress standing over you.
In other people's houses, if you are worried about going back for seconds, take your plate to the kitchen and leave it there.
