Call to complete skin cancer survey

A survey has been launched by the Irish Cancer Society to find out what various sectors are doing in relation to skin cancer prevention.
It hopes to establish what could be done to engage them on this issue. Rosemary Scott, Cancer Prevention Information Development Officer at the Irish Cancer Society, said: "We are really interested in engaging various different organisations. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in Ireland and the number of new cases is expected to rise sharply over the next 25 years.
"It can be prevented in nine out of 10 cases by protecting the skin from over exposure to UV rays. We want an environment that supports people to be SunSmart."
The survey is live until November 27.
