Things to do this week

* It makes sense to get the last of the cultivated and foraged berries in to the freezer to 'store' them for the winter months. Berries will lose some structure when thawed but they're still ideal for making smoothies and fruit crumbles/pies, or for sprinkling on your porridge. Spread them in a single layer on a baking tray or sheet to freeze. When they are well frozen, pop them in a zip-lock freezer bag.
