Ai Palazzi Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Masottina 2004 -- Piave, north of Venice, may not be the best-known Cabernet Sauvignon region, but it has quite a history and here delivers a treat of a wine: rich in blackcurrants, wrapped in silky, sweet tobacco, with smooth tannins and a long, concentrated finish. 13pc alc.
