How the Haugh family's food diary adds up

What did the Haugh family eat over the course of five days?

Wednesday

Breakfast: Ross had Kellogg's All Bran Sultana Bran with Avonmore milk, a Vitamin C tablet and a yogurt drink. I had Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Oat Granola Fruit and Nut with low-fat Avonmore milk, and a Vit C tablet.

James (4) had Kellogg's Rice Krispies Multigrain Shapes and one teaspoon of Linwood's milled Flaxseed with Avonmore Supermilk, plus a glass of Innocent fruit juice. Lucy (2) had Kellogg's Mini Max Wholegrain Cereal with Avonmore Supermilk and a warm bottle of Avonmore Supermilk.

Lunch: Ross and I had Denny ham and Avonmore cheese, tomato and lettuce sandwiches, on Brennans multigrain rye brown bread, with tea. James and Lucy have a hot lunch at creche, and snacks of a Danone yogurt and a Kelkin yogurt-topped rice cake, and a handful of raisins.

Dinner: Roasted vegetable and pesto pasta. Ross had a Danone low-fat Activia yogurt and tea. I had peppermint tea. James's dessert was pear and some Avonmore Supermilk. Lucy had half a banana and a bottle of Avonmore Supermilk.

Thursday

Breakfast: Same as yesterday.

Lunch: Ross had a Green Farm torn chicken breast, Hellman's Mayo, tomato and lettuce sandwich on Brennans multigrain rye brown bread and a tea. I had the same sandwich, with a coffee. James and Lucy had lunch at the creche and a Danone yogurt and some grapes.

Dinner: Paprika chicken and mashed potato. Ross had a Danone Activia yogurt and tea. I had a peppermint tea. James and Lucy had a yogurt-covered rice cake.

Friday

James and Lucy are at home on Mondays and Fridays

Breakfast: Same as before.

Lunch: Ross had a Denny ham and Avonmore cheese, tomato and lettuce sandwich on brown bead, and a tea. I had red salmon vegetable pasta and a coffee. James and Lucy had the pasta, and snacked on a pear and apple puree pot, and a Kelkin yogurt-topped rice cake and a handful of raisins.

Dinner: We had chicken fajitas. James and Lucy had chicken, cheese and tomato quesadillas, followed by diced melon and grapes.

Saturday

Breakfast: Same as before.

Lunch: Ross, Lucy and I had a banana sandwich on brown bread. Ross had a Danone Activia yogurt. James had a jam sandwich on brown bread. James and Lucy had a Danone yogurt and he snacked on pear and raisins.

Dinner: We had breaded cod fillet, baked beans and mashed potato. The children had breaded cod fingers with beans and potato. For dessert they had diced melon.

Sunday

Breakfast: Ross had Denny sausages, scrambled eggs, Heinz beans and Brennans WeightWatchers brown bread. He had a Vitamin C tablet and a low-fat probiotic yogurt drink. I had poached eggs on Brennans multigrain rye brown bread. James and Lucy had sausages, scrambled eggs and the same bread as their dad. James had a glass of Innocent fruit juice, and Lucy had a bottle of Avonmore Supermilk.

Lunch: Ross and I had lentil soup and Brennans multigrain rye brown bread, and coffee, and James and Lucy had the soup followed by a Danone yogurt, with Linwoods milled Flaxseed on top for James.

Dinner: Ross had spaghetti bolognese followed by a Danone Activia yogurt. I had the bolognese followed by peppermint tea. James and Lucy followed the spaghetti with red seedless grapes and their usual bedtime milk.
