When we imagine Kate Middleton sitting down to breakfast, we picture chefs sweeping in and out of her dining room, - which is always drenched in sunlight, regardless of the actual weather outside - carrying exotic fruit platters, smoothie bowls, French pastries, eggs and avocado on everything.
Basically every type of fancy Instagram breakfast conceivable.
While that imaginary scene is pretty far-fetched, we were slightly correct about one aspect of her early-morning routine.
According to Marie Claire magazine, the mother-of-two starts her day with a breakfast smoothie that's packed with kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, coriander, blueberry juice and spirulina.
Her reported love of spirulina has even seen a spike in the searches for the ingredient ever since.
Spirulina is powder form of edible blue-green algae that's considered to be a superfood because it's packed with minerals and antioxidants. And it's a great source of protein and B2.
It's also reported that watermelon salad is one variety of raw foods that Kate enjoys, along with goji berries and almond milk.
