Your barista leaving a cute little heart or snowflake drawing on your coffee is impressive enough, but imagine collecting your cup to find anything from the Mona Lisa to a selfie printed on the surface?
That could soon be the reality for coffee lovers everywhere thanks to one machine.
The geniuses over at Steam CC have created the Ripple Maker, a machine able to print words and images on your coffee in just a matter of seconds.
The machine uses patented 3D printing technology to "turn ordinary coffee into an extraordinary experience" by connecting with an iOS or Android app which allows users to choose from a library images as well as letting them create designs of their own.

According to the company, the images - known as Ripples - are made from tiny coffee bean drops that help to keep the natural quality and flavour of the drink.
Sadly the company are currently only taking orders from the U.S and Canada, but they do have a waiting list for the rest of the world to sign up to.
Fingers crossed we'll soon be seeing Ripple Makers in our favourite coffee shops in the near future.
