Dreamy Australian ‘Freakshakes’ have the world lusting for a trip to Oz
An Australian dessertery has received international attention by creating a luscious menu of milkshakes unlike any you’ve seen before.
The appropriately titled and homemade ‘Freakshakes’ have captured world-wide interest after their debut in Canberra cafe Pâtissez and have sweet-toothed shake-lovers queuing outside for up to an hour just to experience one.
Speaking to the Canberra Times, Gina Petridis, owner of Pâtissez said the interest in the desserts comes down to the fact that they're all made from scratch.
"I have people waiting an hour for a table, and they'll wait 45 minutes for a shake
"All this is house made, down to the brownie and the marshmallow."
The drool-worthy freakshakes include a vast array of ingredients including homemade chocolate fudge brownies, cream, toasted and freshly made marshmallows.
Other variations pair salty crunchy pretzels with Nutella, while another is doused with Oreo.
"I wanted to do some really great shakes, and so ridiculous and over the top that people just had to take a photo of it before they ate it," Petridis said.
Although regularly drinking these shakes might set you off on the road to cardiac difficulty, some things might just be worth it for that perfect Instagram.
