Kerry woman Riona O'Connor's parenting parody video about 'mom shaming' has gone viral.

Comedy songwriter and vlogger Riona has gained legions of fans online thanks to her hilariously honest videos about parenting.

Riona, who lives in London with her husband Nicoll and two-year-old son Garvey, moved to the UK to study at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and shares her videos on her Facebook page Riona - The Unnatural Woman, with a recent parody going viral.

Set to the tune of Rag 'N' Bone Man's Human, the video is a "parenting parody for the mom shamed, thong fearing, mess embracing humans who happen to be parents."

"I started my Facebook page after I had a baby and I started to make videos as pregnancy and motherhood hasn't come 'naturally' to me," Riona told Independent.ie.

"Unless you consider trawling Google at 5am for answers to teething problems natural! My tag line is: 'They said motherhood would come naturally. They lied.'"

Riona's recent video on 'mom shaming' has received over 3.8m views since it was posted, with nearly 40,000 shares.

"To get such a huge response to the videos is amazing. I think we all love to laugh at the trials and tribulations of motherhood. We need to!

"I have had thousands of messages of support and thanks from moms who are happy to know they're not alone in finding motherhood hard sometimes."
