Turning web into a money trap

TODAY'S kids are the first to have not known life without the internet and their use and reliance of web technology is seamless.

However, despite the advent of digital technology, some things remain the same and this is especially true when it comes to money. Like their parents, they too will have to earn it and manage it.

Fortunately, the web and explosion in digital technology has made it a little easier for kids to increase their earnings options (parental permission required in some cases).

For example, online writing and survey tools make it possible for kids to use a skill they already have or opinion they would like to share to fund those expensive school lunches.

For some, the opportunity to go the extra step and bring out that entrepreneurial side to teach the generation with the cash to splash a little by way of digital tutorials might be the symbiotic relationship between generations that can work.

But, at the end of the day, what really matters is that the concept of money is extended to the next generation and nothing is more important about teaching about money than earning it and learning that it really is finite.
