As every parent knows, taking your eyes off a little one for just a few moments could lead to an unpleasant afternoon spent in A&E or even worse, so reducing the risk of injury in the home is of utmost importance.

A new infographic published by Heiton Buckley has offered parents some tips to eliminate potential hazards in  different rooms of Irish homes.

Simple mindful rearrangements such as making sure cots are far away from windows, using a bath thermometer, and fixing free standing furniture to the wall are all ways to make the home a safer place for your child.
