Jade Jagger will be both a new mother and grandmother this year as she has revealed she is six months pregnant.
Jade is expecting her own child as she awaits the arrival of her 21-year-old daughter’s baby too.
The 42-year-old jewellery designer showed off her baby bump in a casual black top and shorts on Instagram and captioned the snap; “Happy to announce this granny is going to become a mummy I’m 6 months pregnant xx double whammy this year [sic]”.
Jade is married to Adrian Fillary, a DJ and music festival promoter. Jade’s father Sir Mick Jagger, mother Bianca and stepmother Jerry Hall attended their wedding in Oxfordshire last year.
Jade’s daughter Assisi also announced her pregnancy recently and said young mums run in the family.
“The women in our family just tend to have children young, it runs in the genes,” she told Hello! magazine.
“I grew up quite quickly and wouldn't have considered having a child if I was doing what my friends are doing at this stage, messing around.
“I don't drink, I don't smoke and I'm very settled.”
Jade was just 20 years old when she became a mum to Assisi.
And the rock legend of the family, Mick, has already said he was delighted with the news that he will be a great-grandfather.
