Chris Hemsworth and wife expecting twins
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are expecting twins.
The couple confirmed they are having not just baby number two but baby number three as well when Elsa gives birth this spring, reports People magazine.
Chris and Elsa already have one child – daughter India Rose, who is 19 months old.
Elsa showed off her baby bump for the first time on Sunday at the Golden Globes, and says she can’t wait for the new arrivals.
According to the 37-year-old, family time is the most important thing for her and her husband.
“You have to make an effort and try to stay together as much as you can,” she said.
“If we start splitting and doing other things it’s not going to last. We try and keep it as normal as much as we can — like a typical family.”
Chris echoes his wife’s sentiment, saying family comes first.
The Thor star believes he is a better actor because his home life keeps him grounded.
"Having a family allowed me to approach work with a lot more ease because I had something else now that is far more important to me and consumes a lot of my motivation and commitment," he told News Corp Australia.
"I am less wound up and tight when I go on set and that was the way it was in the past, you know everything had to be perfect and I didn't want to mess it up. But to now have something else which is a far bigger and more important focus for me I enjoy work more you know because I feel freer."
