All aboard (again)

After its hugely successful Christmas launch, the Forest Train in Avondale Forest Park is set to return this Easter. Santa and the Elves have gone back to the North Pole, and will be replaced with a train ride, nature trail, wise old woodsman, wooden Easter egg hunt, and an arts and crafts session in the old barn. Coillte is also organising an Easter market with coffee, cakes and crepes, balloons, jewellery, popcorn, ice cream, Wild Wicklow foods and more. It runs from Friday, 3 April to Monday, 6 April. Cost is ¤12 per

child, ¤6 per adult, with babies (0-1) free.
