Today is last chance for early CAO applications

As most CAO applicants are aware, the normal closing date and time for CAO applications is today, February 1 at 5.15pm. CAO applications received after that time are regarded as "late", and are subject to the higher fee, and the other restrictions that apply to late application.
February 1 is also the normal closing date to register for the MSAP (mature students admissions pathway) test, which is used for mature applicants to some courses in NUI Galway, UCC and UCD.
And yet another admissions test, GAMSAT, has a normal closing date of February 1.
GAMSAT is the admissions test for applicants to the graduate entry route for medicine in UCC, UCD, UL and RCSI, or to graduate entry veterinary medicine in UCD.
In the case of both of these tests, applicants must have first applied online to CAO, because they need their CAO number when registering for the tests. There is a late closing for a higher fee up to February 11 for both of them.
The MSAP Test will take place on February 23, while GAMSAT Ireland will be held on Saturday, March 23.
MSAP and GAMSAT are both administered by ACER (the Australian Council for Educational Research).
