THE Irish Independent has once again teamed up with the National Parents Council (post primary) and Eircom to provide invaluable assistance to students and their parents when the Leaving Certificate results are issued on August 18.
Fully trained members of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors will answer queries that come in to the helpline, which has the official backing of the Department of Education and Skills.
The helpline will also be in operation when the first round of CAO offers is made on August 23.
A record number of applications was lodged with the CAO this year, which is expected to increase the number of calls to the helpline.
