Anything goes for sake of child art

CHILDREN have been urged to feed their imaginations for this years's All-Ireland Credit Union Art Competition.
After almost three decades as a poster competition, organisers decided it was time for the event to get a makeover and this year changed it to allow for all forms of art. They said this will allow for "greater artistic freedom and expression."
More than 30,000 primary and secondary school children from across the 32 counties are expected to enter the competition. The theme of this year's revamped competition is 'Ireland through my eyes'.
Pictured at the launch of the competition was Jamie Clarke (9) from Lucan.
