Family fun is sorted this May Bank Holiday weekend as Woolapalooza returns
Woolapalooza will return this May Bank Holiday weekend, with something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Woolapalooza Farm Festival will take place at Airfield Estate, Dundrum on Sunday April 30 and Monday May 1.
The 38-acre event is a farm and food adventure for all the family, with sheep shearing, live music and bakery demonstrations among events taking place, as well as a BBQ and pop up café.
Little ones can help collect freshly laid eggs firs thing in the morning, as well as learning how milk gets from cow to carton in the farmyard.
An annual Woolapalooza highlight, Nan the sheepdog and her best friend Dennis Birchall return to Airfield to thrill and astound in the Sheep Dog Trials, a spectacular display of agility and the incredible bond between dogs and their humans.
As winners of Ireland’s Best Food and Beverage Experience at the recent Irish Tourism Industry Award, grub on the day won't disappoint. Grab a fruit super juice, organic herbal teas or a fresh brewed Jersey milk latte, along with a selection of baked treats at the pop up café.
Other activities include the Airfield House Tour, the Agricultural Tour, a Garden and Woodland Walk and the Estate Barn Dance.
