Brown Thomas stores in Dublin, Cork and Limerick have officially launched their Christmas market in-store.

A dedicated space in each store has been transformed into a wonderland created from four festive angles: Deco and Diamond, Winter Whispers, Santa Memories and Gingerbread World.

Christmas market buyer Edel Woods told independent.ie that store always showcases its Christmas offering in August.

“We might have opened two or three days earlier this year – but that was down to consumer demand,” she said.

“In fact, we’re seeing a lot of customers coming in now as they missed out last year. We usually sell out of stock by mid-November”.

And what’s on offer is surely to delight any lover of the fir-laden season with Christmas trees and trim, beautiful decorations, crackers and festive food on display.

There is a wide selection and range of prices too, according to Ms Woods, so that pieces can be picked up from €3 for baubles up to €580 for replica department stores.

Later this year Santa’s Grotto and the gift wrapping services will return once again to Brown Thomas with all proceeds going to the ISPCC.
