Young man dies a week after serious road crash

One of the three young men who was injured in a crash last Saturday evening has died as a resulted of his injuries.

The young man (21)  who was a back seat passenger in the car passed away in Beaumont Hospital yesterday evening.

The two other males have been released from hospital.

The three young men were involved in a serious crash late last Saturday night.

Gardai in Naas, Co Kildare are investigating the collision which occurred at Old Miltown, Kill, Co Kildare.

The single vehicle collision occurred on the Kilteel Rd( L6027) at approximately 10.50pm last Saturday evening.

There were three young males in the car at the time of the collision. 

The driver (24) and front seat passenger (24) were also injured and taken to Naas General Hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
