THREE separate probes are under way after a young worker was electrocuted following an incident at an ESB station.
Emergency services were alerted at around 3.10pm yesterday that a man had been injured at the electricity firm's station in Coldwinters, Finglas, north Dublin.
Paramedics performed life-support on the 22-year-old ESB Networks staff member, who was from Santry, Dublin, but he was later pronounced dead on arrival in the Mater Hospital.
It is understood early indications were that he had been electrocuted. He had been working with three others at the time but there were no other injuries.
The young man had been working in a small indoor section of the substation.
