A FEMALE pedestrian in her 50s has been fatally injured after she was struck by a lorry.
Gardai in Castleblayney are investigating the collision which happened on Main Street, Castleblayney at approximately 12.50pm this afternoon.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The driver of the lorry was not hurt.
