Woman and two children threatened in hijacking
Robber demanded that woman drive to ATM to withdraw cash

Gardai are investigating a hijacking and a robbery of a woman and her two children today.
The incident occurred at around 3.40pm when the woman was stopped at traffic lights in her grey BMW estate at the junction of Zion Rd and Orwell Rd, Terenure in Dublin.
A hijacker got into the back of her car threatened and demanded money from her.
He claimed to have a weapon and he instructed the mother to drive to her house and retrieve bank cards, which she did.
He then told her to drive to an ATM at the AIB Bank in Rathgar and demanded that she withdraw money from the ATM.
He then forced her to drive the car to Portobello at which point he left the car.
The woman and her children were uninjured in the incident.
The culprit is described as being about 5'9", shaved dark hair, unshaven, medium build wearing a dark wax type jacket and dark scarf.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Terenure Garda station.
Gardai are particularly appealing for anyone who may have been close to the junction of Zion Road and Orwell Road around 3.40pm and saw a suspicious male hanging around.
The woman claims she sounded her car horn when the man jumped into the back of her car.
Gardai are also appealing for anyone who may have seen unusual behaviour around the ATM at the AIB Bank in Rathgar at around 4.05pm to 4.10pm to contact them in Terenure on 01 6666400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
