Woman (26) charged in connection with suspected arson attack on pensioner's home

A 26-year-old woman has been charged in relation to a suspected arson attack on a pensioner's home in Drogheda on Saturday.
She was charged this evening and she will appear before Trim District Court in Meath at 11am tomorrow.
The woman was the fourth person to be arrested in relation to the investigation.
Three men, two aged in their 30s and the third in his 40s, who were arrested on Saturday were released without charge.
The injured woman was transferred on Saturday to St James Hospital where her condition was described as serious.
A man who helped rescue to woman was also being treated for burn injuries, however his injuries were not life threatening.
The house is on Chord road, Drogheda and the fire was spotted at about 1am on Saturday.
It is understood the woman was asleep in the house when the fire started.
