They are amongst 109 discounted properties worth a total of €13.6m that are going up for sale next month.

One of the more unusual properties is an almost entire shopping street with 18 units in Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Described by Allsopspace auctioneers as a "groundbreaker", it is the first sale of its kind.

It has a €900,000 guide price and is being sold by a "private investor/owner", according to Robert Hoban of Allsopspace.

Amongst the other properties is a four-storey, 12-flat Georgian house in Rathmines, Dublin 6, which has a guide of €495,000.

The cheapest residential property is a two-bedroom apartment in Tullagahan, Co Leitrim, which has a €15,000 guide.

The auction on December 4 in the Shelbourne Hotel includes properties being sold by private investors as well as distressed properties.
