Weekend weather: Fans will need umbrellas - as well as hope - at Croke Park
GAA fans get out the raincoats - it looks like our short second summer is coming to an end.
Rains starting in the west will spread across the country on Sunday, so those heading to Croke Park for the All Ireland finals might want to dust off the raincoats.
"It's possible the rain could pass through earlier and leave the match dry, but it does look like it'll be a wet start at least," a forecaster told independent.ie.
The rain should clear up in time for the celebrations... for either Dublin or Mayo fans. Temperatures could get as high as 16c to 18c.
Tomorrow looks set to stay bright and warm in the east. It will stay dry into the night with highest temperatures at 16c to 19c during the day and 8c to 12c at night.
But these could be the last few good days; it looks like summer really is over this time. "The temperatures have settled back to normal for the season, and I wouldn't see them going back up to last week."
