This footage shows how many gardai were on the streets to police the Dublin derby between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers.
Rovers beat their arch rivals 2-0 in the League of Ireland Premier Division last night and after the match riot police were forced to intervene as a gang of dark-clothed youths approached Doyle's Corner chanting "BSC" (Bohs Soccer Casuals).
Tensions were high around the ground after the Shamrock Rovers Milltown monument and doors to Tallaght Stadium were defaced on Thursday night.
The letters 'BSC' and 'BBC' (Bohs Baby Crew) were scrawled in red across the monument to leave Rovers fans outraged.
In the corresponding fixture last season, up to 100 hooligans clashed on Dorset Street with thugs from Wrexham over with the Bohemians crew and Bury hooligans alongside Shamrock Rovers with the mass brawl captured on video.
12 months ago, rival fans clashed on the pitch during Rovers' 4-0 win over the Northsiders.
Gardai confirmed that no arrests were made last night.
