Warrant out for Dundon gang sister

A EUROPEAN arrest warrant has been issued for a sister of the criminal Dundon brothers after she fled the country, writes Barry Duggan.

Annabel (23) is the sister of four Dundon brothers -- Wayne (35), John (30), Dessie (29) and Ger (25) -- who are all imprisoned and serving various sentences. A fifth brother, Kenneth Jnr, no longer lives in Limerick and is not involved in crime.

Ms Dundon is charged with threatening to kill April Collins outside a house in the village of Murroe, Co Limerick on April 9, 2011.

April Collins -- who acted as State witness in a trial against Wayne and John Dundon last year -- is the former partner of Ger Dundon. When charged in 2011, Annabel was granted bail on a number of strict conditions at Limerick district court. These included that she must reside at her home address in Limerick city.
