Gardai have yet to establish whether the incidents near the grounds of the Letterkenny Institute of Technology in County Donegal are connected.

The latest incident occurred on Sunday evening, when a woman out walking her dog was aggressively approached by a man. No assault took place but local councillor Gerry McMonagle (SF) said that women were now living in fear, given this was the third incident in recent weeks.

In the first most serious incident three weeks ago a 19-year-old woman was attacked and sexually assaulted. And on Thursday morning last at 1.55am, a woman was grabbed from behind just after getting out of a taxi.
