Following their stellar win against France, Rory McIlroy treated the Irish rugby team to a golf masterclass yesterday, but it didn't go very well for Luke Fitzgerald.
The Leinster player stepped up to show off his skills and, despite barely tipping the ball off the tee, managed to send his driver 30 metres down the driving range.
Other members of the Irish squad including Rob Kearney, Sean Cronin, Rory Best and Conor Murray promptly fell about laughing at his disastrous golf skills.
Following their morning out at Celtic Manor, the team will spend the rest of the week preparing for their World Cup quarter-final against Argentina on Sunday.
Meanwhile, it was also announced that McIlroy will continue to host the Irish Open for the next three years on behalf of his foundation, with Dubai Duty Free also extending its sponsorship until 2018.
And the Irish Open will prove attractive to the world's biggest names in golf as the prize fund will jump from €2.5m to €4m.
