US firm creates 200 new jobs
A US direct-marketing firm is to almost double its workforce by creating 200 new jobs.
National Pen, which first came to Louth in 1987, said it would employ 450 people in Ireland by the end of 2017. The Dundalk operation is National Pen's global headquarters, and it exports to 19 countries.
Last year it moved into a new, custom-designed facility at the town's Xerox Technology Park.
The company mainly produces customised marketing and promotional products such as branded stationery and baseball caps.
It has worked with brands such as Disney, Guinness and US sports leagues, the NFL and NBA.
