A US financial services firm is to recruit a further 150 people for its Dublin base, bringing employment there to about 250 in the next year.
Blair Henderson, of funds administration company Butterfield Fulcrum, said it had just 29 employees last January and had recruited steadily since then.
Certified accountants and other accountancy graduates were ideal candidates for the vacancies, he said.
The new jobs will be in the areas of middle office and customer relationship management.
Meanwhile, an American e-commerce company is this morning expected to confirm it is investing in Drogheda, Co Louth.
Nextag, or its associated company Wize Commerce, is expected to confirm it will create a significant number of positions -- possibly close to 100.
