Uninvited obstetricians seek hearing

Published 11/01/2013 | 05:00

A GROUP of obstetricians, who are opposed to abortion legislation, have described the Oireachtas Health Committee hearings as 'imbalanced' and 'unfair' because their views were not represented at it, writes Gemma O'Doherty.

The obstetricians, who say they were not invited to the Committee's oral sessions, have written to the Chairman of the Committee, Jerry Buttimer TD, and its members, requesting an extra oral session that would take account of their views.
