A POLICE search for a high-risk missing person and her three-year-old daughter switched from the UK to Dublin last night.

Merseyside police said they were becoming "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of 30-year-old Laura Halligan (pictured) and her three-year-old daughter Grace, who were last seen in Liverpool on Wednesday. Laura has a medical condition and her condition may deteriorate if she is not treated, police said.

Laura was reported as being missing at around 10.30am on Wednesday morning. She is described as being white, 5 ft 10 inches tall, of slim build with long blonde / light brown hair and blue eyes. Grace usually wears pink-framed glasses.

Police confirmed last night that on Wednesday Laura got a ferry at 2.10pm at Holyhead bound for Dublin.

They appealed to Laura or anyone who knows of the pair's whereabouts to contact them on 0044 151 777 4568.
