Two teenagers killed in Offaly road accident

GARDAI at Ferbane are investigating a single vehicle accident in which two teenagers died this evening.

The accident happened  on the R436 at Rosfaraghan, Ferbane, at around 7.30 this evening.

The two male occupants of the car, aged in their late teens, were fatally injured when the car left the road and crashed into a wall.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed and Garda forensic investigators are at the scene. Local traffic diversions are in place.
