Two questioned following cannabis haul

TWO men were being questioned last night following the discovery of a large consignment of herbal cannabis.
The men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were arrested after gardai searched a van at Ballymurn near Enniscorthy, Co Wexford yesterday morning.
The search turned up a consignment of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of 700,000.
The search was part of an ongoing investigation by the Wexford garda division into the distribution of illicit drugs.
The drugs were seized and the suspects were arrested and taken to the Enniscorthy garda station.
They were still being questioned last night and can be held for up to seven days under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act), 1996.
