Two plead not guilty to murder of teenager Daniel McAnespie

TWO Dublin men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of teenager Daniel McAnespie, who was in the care of the State at the time of his death three years ago.

Richard Dekker (27) and Trevor Noone (25), both of Whitestown Avenue in Blanchardstown, were arraigned this morning at the Central Criminal Court.

They each pleaded not guilty to the murder of Daniel McAnespie at Tolka Valley Park, Blanchardstown, on February 26th, 2010.

Daniel McAnespie (17) who was originally from the Finglas area, was in the care of the HSE and living at Lark House in Donabate at the time of his death.

The trial, which is expected to last over two weeks, will begin on Wednesday in front of Mr Justice Paul Butler and a jury of seven men and five women.
