Two motorcyclists seriously injured in collision with lorry trailer

Two motorcyclists are in a serious condition in hospital after colliding with the trailer of an articulated truck in Dublin on Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred at approximately 11.30am on the outbound lanes of the Naas Road at the Fox and Geese. The location of the incident is between the junction of the Long Mile Road and the M50 interchange.

Both injured men - aged in their 40s and 50s - were taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital.

Investigating gardai are now appealing for witnesses who can assist with the investigation to contact them.

They are also appealing for the driver of the lorry to come forward.
