Two men face 88 charges related to ATM theft

TWO men have been charged in connection with a string of offences involving the theft of money from ATM machines.

The men, aged 27 and 32, face a total of 88 charges, including theft, criminal damage and possession of articles for fraud.

It is understood the charges relate to a number of thefts from ATM machines using a cash trapping device in the Newry, Banbridge and Belfast areas between October 26 and November 1.

The men, are to appear before Newry Magistrates Court, while all charges are to be reviewed by the Public Prosecutions Service.
