Two men being questioned after three gardai injured when patrol car rammed

TWO drivers are being questioned after three gardai were injured by two 4x4s.

Two officers were in a patrol car in Blackditch Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin, when it was rammed by one 4x4 at around 11.40pm last night.



A third officer, who was attending the scene on foot, was hit by the second 4x4.



All three gardai were taken to St James's Hospital with minor injuries. They have since been released.



The two drivers of the 4x4 vehicles were arrested at the scene and are being held at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations.
