Two men have been attacked with baseball bats after a gang forced their way into a house in Belfast.

The incident happened at Elm Street at about 8.30pm on Saturday.

The victims were struck on the legs and back but did not require hospital treatment for their injuries.

It is believed one of the intruders, who demanded money, may have had a gun.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on the non emergency 101 number.
