Two held after armed robbery in Blessington

The garda have found two bodies in the search for two missing men.
Garda patrolling the area  stopped a car and arrested the two men

Two men are in custody this morning following an armed robbery at a filling station in Wicklow last night.

The two men entered the filling station, one with a sword like object and the second with a handgun at 10.05 pm last night.

The men left the scene in a car.

A Garda patrolling the area  stopped a car and arrested two men, one  aged 30 and the other 40.  A handgun, a sword, clothing and cash were recovered in the car.

The two men were arrested and are currently detained at Bray Garda Station, under section 30 of Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

The scene at the filling station is preserved for technical examination and the car has been seized for examination.
